The first cars named “Skyline GT-R” were produced between 1969 and 1972 under the model code KPGC10, and they achieved great success in Japanese touring car racing events.

Over the years, the Nissan Skyline underwent significant transformations and evolved into a high-performance vehicle.

 

The Nissan Skyline is a brand of automobile that has a rich history dating back to 1957. Originally produced by the Prince Motor Company, it was later manufactured by Nissan after the two companies merged.

 

In 1999, the R34 model was introduced, marking a new era for Nissan’s performance-oriented models. This particular model was designed to build upon the success of its predecessors, the R32 and R33.

Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 – Produced from 1999 onwards, the GT-R R34 featured an in-line 6-cylinder, twin-turbo engine with a displacement of 2.6 liters. It had a power output of 276 bhp at 7000 rpm and a torque of 289 lb ft at 4400 rpm. The transmission was a six-speed manual and it had four-wheel drive. Additionally, it was equipped with an active rear LSD (Limited Slip Differential) for enhanced traction and handling.
